Tools for explaining something to someone who cannot see your screen

Half of support and documentation is proving what you saw. A screenshot with the right thing circled and the customer's name blurred, a thirty-second recording instead of nine numbered steps, a clean icon in the help article, an email thread filed as a PDF on the ticket. These tools cover those jobs — and none of them send your screen to a server to do it.

How they fit together

  1. 1

    Capture what actually happened

ScrnCap takes the visible area, the whole scrolling page, a region you draw or an exact size — then crops, annotates and blurs right where you took it, so the customer's data never leaves in the screenshot.

  2. 2

Record it when a picture is not enough

ReelCap records the tab with a highlighted cursor, click ripples, your narration and a webcam bubble, so a reproduction path or a how-to lands in thirty seconds instead of nine numbered steps.

  3. 3

    File it, then illustrate it

Mail Toolbox turns the conversation into a PDF, Word file or Markdown note for the ticket or the runbook, and SVG Forge gives the help article icons and diagrams that stay sharp at any size.

The tools

ScrnCap – Screenshot & Full Page Capture

Browser extension

Screenshot any page. Then make it yours.

Capture the visible area, a full scrolling page, a region you draw or an exact size — then annotate, crop and blur before it leaves your machine. Export PNG, JPG, WEBP or PDF, or batch a whole tab group into one ZIP or a multi-page PDF.

ReelCap – Web Demo Screen Recorder

Browser extension

Record web demos that point where you point.

Record a browser tab as a short demo or a bug reproduction, with a highlighted cursor, click ripples, narration and a webcam bubble. MP4 and GIF export run in your browser, not on a server.

Mail Toolbox for Gmail™

Browser extension

Your Gmail, finally under control.

Turn the thread into a PDF, Word file or Markdown note for the ticket, get a summary with the action items, and pin private notes to the messages that matter — without granting access to the Google account.

Questions people ask

Do screenshots or recordings get uploaded to your servers?

No. ScrnCap's capture path is fully local and does not make a single network request, and ReelCap records and converts in the browser, MP4 and GIF included. Our servers never touch the image or the video — which is the point when the screenshot has a customer's data in it.

Can I blur or redact before sharing?

Yes. ScrnCap's editor blurs regions and crops in the same place you took the capture, so you never have to open the raw screenshot in another app to make it safe to send.

Can I capture a page that only exists behind our login?

Yes. Both tools run inside your own browser session, so an internal dashboard or an admin screen captures exactly like any other page. Nothing is fetched server-side.

What formats can I hand to a ticket or a docs platform?

PNG, JPG, WEBP and PDF for captures, plus ZIP or a multi-page PDF for a batch; MP4 and GIF for recordings; and PDF, DOCX or Markdown for an email thread.
