How is this different from a generic summarize button?
ReadLens first recognizes the kind of page you're on — a news story, terms of service, a research paper, a product page and more — and reads it accordingly, so the summary explains what the page means instead of just making it shorter.
Can it answer in my language?
Yes. Choose from 13 output languages, whatever language the page is written in. By default it follows your interface language.
What can I do without signing in?
The free no-login mode turns the page into a tailored prompt and hands it to the AI chat site you prefer. Summaries that run inside ReadLens use credits, and a new account comes with trial credits to start.
Where are my summaries stored?
In your browser. Summary history is kept locally by the extension; a summary is stored on our server only if you choose to create a share link, and you can delete that link at any time.
