Frequently asked questions
Is Bookmark Commander free?
Yes. Spotlight search, the side panel manager and every cleanup tool — duplicates, dead links, empty folders and folder merging — are free with no item limits. The paid plan only covers the two things that need a server: AI organize and cloud backup.
Does it upload my bookmarks?
No. Local features run entirely in your browser. Your data reaches the server only when you run AI organize on items you select, or when you create a cloud backup snapshot yourself.
Can a cleanup be undone?
Yes. Every bulk delete and every AI organize run is snapshotted to Trash before anything changes, and stays restorable for 30 days.
Which browsers does it work with?
Chrome and Chromium-based browsers with side panel support, including Edge and Brave. It works on the browser's own bookmarks, so they keep syncing as usual.
