Which AI platforms does it support?
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek and Perplexity, all with one extension and one plan. Reasoning, sources and artifacts can be included or left out on every export.
Do I need an account?
Not for local exports. Markdown, DOCX, HTML, JSON, CSV and the other local formats work without signing in. An account is only needed for one-click PDF, share links and anything tied to a paid plan.
Do my conversations leave my browser?
Only when you ask for a one-click PDF: the turns you selected are rendered on our server and discarded straight away. Every other format is produced inside your browser, and your archive is stored locally.
Is it affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic or Google?
No. AI Chat Exporter is an independent tool that works with pages you're already signed in to, and names those services only to say which sites it supports.
